County Council By-election campaigning in Bosmere

Members from Central Suffolk & North Ipswich joined up with members from Bury St Edmunds to kick start-campaigning in the division of Bosmere – which straddles the two constituency boundaries around Needham Market.  A great turn out  – and glorious weather!   And this on the day when Theresa May took to the Observer to exhort Labour supporters to abandon Labour and back what she has the audacity to call her “decent moderate and patriotic programme ” – the one that her own Minister apparently admits is making people on Universal Credit up to £2,400 per year worse off; the one whose ‘hostile environment’ provoked the recent Windrush scandal and which continues to deport both long-serving doctors, and young people who know no other country as home; and the one responsible for cutting per-pupil school funding and then distorting statistics to claim the opposite.
